Abstract
It is well known that chromospheric lines in solar flares are often red asymmetric. Sometimes we also get blue shift in line asymmetries. Based on radiative hydrodynamic simulations, we study the role of non-thermal electron beams to He 10830 spectra. We vary the parameters of the electron beam and compare the results with the observational studies. Our calculations can explain most of the observational results.
