The idea here is to use the power spectrum from the filtering to measure the mean wavenumber of the p-modes used. Then invert this to get wavelength. The spatial nyquist wavelength is 0.24deg, or l=1500. One variable to compare with is the fwhm of the autocorrelation function of the dif_oi signal. At the short distances, this is controlled by the supergranular signal. For annuli 7-11, it varies from .38deg to .48deg. On this same interval, the average p-mode wavelength varies from 1.02 to 1.32 deg. Another thing to look at would be the location of secondary maxima of the autocorrelation function. These can only be seen at the larger annuli. The location is varying from .72 deg to .84 deg while the average p-mode wavelength is varying from 1.08 to 1.32 deg. All of these quantities are increasing in this distance range, so they may be related.
