Processing HMI Offpoint Flats

The quarterly HMI offpoint flats are processed by running Sebastien Covidat's IDL script in /tmp28/jsocprod/hmi_flats,
with some edits. The processing takes several hours and needs to be run as soon as the maneuver is over so the new flat
can be ingested and picked up when the weekly cals are run the next day. See /tmp28/jsocprod/hmi_flats/README for
more details on HMI daily, weekly PZT and quarterly offpoint flats.

To process the quarterly offpoint flat:

1. Make a directory in /tmp28/jsocprod/hmi_flats for the quarter (ie, 2021_flats_oct).
2. Copy /tmp28/jsocprod/hmi_flats/do_flat.csh to the new directory.
3. Cd to the new directory and edit do_flat.csh:
	a. Change the directory name in the first line.
	b. Add 2 new 'flat_inorbit' lines (one for each camera) with the date of the flatfield
maneuver and make sure the focus stop is current.
	c. Add 2 new 'bad_pixel_list' lines with the correct date and COMMENT THEM OUT. They
don't get run until after the definitive flat has been ingested.
4. In a new solar3 window, run do_flat.csh - this will take several hours.
5. When the script is done, run the 2 ingest scripts it generated (2 flats and 2 darks).
The files are ingested as hmi.inspect_offpoint_ff and hmi.inspect_dark.
6. Look at the files and make sure they look like flats and darks. If they look OK,
edit the ingest scripts and change the series names to hmi.offpoint_flatfield and
    hmi.dark and rerun them.
7. Edit do_flat.csh to comment out the flatfield processing and un-comment out the bad
pixel list processing, and run it again (this won't take long).
8. Run the bad pixel ingest scripts.
9. Inspect the hmi.offpoint_flatfield and hmi.dark records and make sure the fits
    files and keywords look reasonable.

IDL notes: Sebastien's script doesn't get along with solarsoft, so be sure to use a new window.
If you have something in your IDL environment that isn't compatible with the script, you may not
find out until it fails a few hours into the run. Then you'll need to restart the process after
starting a new window and unsetenving anything related to IDL. If the flats aren't ingested in
time to be picked up by the weekly cals processing, they will be picked up the following week.
