From erhodes@usc.edu Sat Jun 3 23:42:29 2017 Date: Sun, 4 Jun 2017 06:42:18 +0000 From: Edward Joseph Rhodes To: "tplarson@sun.stanford.edu" Cc: Edward Joseph Rhodes Subject: Map of BNSF abandoned siding in Chillicothe Dear Tim I have attached the third pdf file that I generated this evening. This image is just to the east of the grade crossing of Blue Ridge Rd and the BNSF double-track mainline. I am not sure if you can get over to this area using the road that runs parallel to the tracks on the north side of them, but if you can do so, please try to get a shot of the signal bridge that is over both tracks near the location where the abandoned siding used to tie into the mainline. It is not worth getting in trouble for trespassing, so don't worry about it if you cannot get this picture. There are similar signal bridges that go above the tracks in Edelstein Village, so picture of one of them would suffice for this one. On Tuesday, I will be home until about 12:30 PDT, and then I will have to drop my car off at our local dealership for service. Then I will be hosting a meeting of my entire research group in the conference room down the hall from my office at 3:30 PM. If you have any questions while you are driving and taking pictures on Tuesday, you can try to reach me on  my cell phone at 818-923-9243. Thanks again so very much. Sincerely yours,   Ed PS Jesper sent me an email wishing me a Happy Birthday on Thursday as he has done every year now. I replied right away and let him know how much I appreciated his annual good wishes.
